AI Assistant inside the Dashboard

Hello all! My team is building an AI powered assistant within the Dashboard, and we’d love feedback and opinions about it!

What can it do?
3 main use cases are being included in the first version:

1. Answer questions - If you ask a question like “How do I send a refund?” Assistant will analyze your question, search for relevant chunks of docs articles, and summarize the answer for you inline within the dashboard.
2. Complete actions for you - You can give the assistant commands like "create a product named “golden llama that costs 35 dollars, then create a payment link for it.” It will ask you for a confirmation, then begin acting. It will create the actual product through Stripe APIs, and render you the payment link, all within the chat. You can send refunds, modify customers, manage disputes, create products and payment links, create discounts, and more.
3. Contact support - For the times that users are stuck and need to reach out to a human, the assistant can help users escalate to a human support agent directly within the Dashboard, without having to go to support.stripe.com.

So here’s my question for you: How would you use this? What would you want it to be able to do for you? What are the tasks in the dashboard that you find either frustrating, time confusing, confusing, or all the above?

How can I make the dashboard easier for you to operate on?

In my opinion, the most useful case would be around reporting, incorporating metadata. e.g. What is the total volume of sales for product X over the last 12 months

Interesting! Sounds like you’re less in need of help in doing things, and more in need of help in understanding what’s going on in your account, is that right?
