Connected accounts do not have access to shipping_rate write

Hi,

I’ve raised this issue with the Stripe Apps team, but I wanted to raise it with the Stripe API team to squeak the wheel:

We have a published Stripe App available publically in the Stripe Apps Marketplace. Anyone who installs our app essentially becomes our connected account. Since our app creates shipping labels in the Stripe Dashboard (see https://www.parcelcraft.com), our app needs to add additional metadata using the Stripe Shipping Rate API through our connected accounts. We can read our connected account’s shipping rates but not write to them. I’m raising this issue on this forum category since the Stripe Apps Team will likely need to coordinate with the Stripe API team to fix this bug.

I wanted to follow up on my bug report: The Stripe support team is supremely excellent. This issue lived as a stale problem on the GitHub issues page, I raised the issue on the discord server, and they recommended me to the support@stripe.com email address. Within hours, the Stripe API team was alerted and my issue was solved. They reported that it was indeed a bug on their part, but the patch was presently forthcoming.

I’m about to tell our users through a bulk-email that this issue has been resolved. Many thanks to the HOLY HELL ARE YOU SEROIOUS amazing Stripe support infrastructure. If I had only followed the recommended support channels rather than bitching about it on this forum, the issue could have been solved. If there were a tip-jar available to the Stripe Support team, I’d happily contribute. Thanks Stripe! Thanks All!
