Facing difficulty due to programming language barrier

I recently took on the Stripe certification, which proved to be a challenge. As a backend developer, I’m used to working with languages like Golang, but my experience with JavaScript is limited to frontend development. My job has also “blessed” me with the opportunity to learn Rust - because who needs a social life when you can spend your evenings debugging Rust code and wondering why the borrow checker hates you?

I ultimately chose to use Python for the certification, but soon realized I was relying too heavily on AI assistance. According to the rules, I’m on my own, which adds an extra layer of complexity to the challenge. Wish me luck! However, I want to make sure I’m not crossing any lines, so I’d like to clarify the rules regarding AI assistance. I’ve been using AI to help with some of the challenges, but I’m not sure if this is allowed. Will I be sanctioned or penalized if I’m found to be relying too heavily on AI assistance? Could you please provide more guidance on what is and isn’t acceptable in terms of AI usage during the certification process?
