We plan to integrate webhook events with our application running on AWS and wonder if EventBridge integration is stable enough to use in production with tens of thousands of users. We are considering creating an apigateway+lambda+eventbridge pipeline, following the old approach if the eventbridge destination is not ready for heavy production load yet.

Hi thanks for writing in and we are excited you are considering adopting Amazon EventBridge. Event Destination’s support for Amazon EventBridge is stable enough to run in production for your use case. Many merchants today are passing high-volume event deliveries to Amazon EventBridge. While it’s still in beta today, we offer the same guarantees for sending events to EventBridge as we do with our webhook endpoint support.
