So I am working an accounting software which generate stripe hosted invoice links for the invoices which are generated,
I want to find a way which through which I can record invoice’s part payment which are made externally from other source of payment, and the final stripe invoice hosted URL should have the adjusted amount in it
Hey @abhay.prajapati_stri - thanks for reaching out! We don’t currently support recording external partial payments, but it’s a feature the team has been considering. We should have an update on that sometime in July.
+1 on this - especially annoying for Xero/Quickbooks integrations with Stripe Billing, because whilst Xero/Quickbooks can mark an invoice as partially paid, Stripe Billing won’t handle this, so the payment status of the invoices get out of sync.
+1 on this
Currently we can only pay the invoice in full as out of band and we have to track the split payment type and amount. Do we get charge a fee on the use of invoice when this happen?
I am also interested in this. We also have Xero integration. We used to use Paypal where recording and external payment to reduce the balance of an invoice was easy. I assumed there would be a way of doing this. Editing the invoice also causes problems as a new invoice number is created which is a nightmare.
Hi,
Also interested in recording external partial payment for invoices.
Connected accounts on my plateform have to be able to enter partial payment from their customers.
I’m using bubble.io with Stripe API.
Thanks.
